Having worked with Zurb for many years, I've always found it a comfortable place to start for new sites, and this rewrite of Paperize to VueJS starting last year was no exception. It worked well enough for long enough, but it always sort of felt like extra work as the Zurb Javascript fought with the Vue framework.
And then Vuetify appeared. A Material Design-based UI toolkit written specifically for Vue. It's beautiful, and I expect it to streamline future feature development. But before that can happen, Zurb has to hit the road!
