Parallel Particles uses four partially undisclosed combinations of parallel processes in the four main areas of the spectrum to add attitude to the sound. First make sure that INPUT and OUTPUT are chained and adjust INPUT until the sensitivity LED is at the optimum yellow level.
AIR is in charge of enhancing the area of higher frequencies even if they don't exist in the original audio which means they will be synthesized. The difference between synthesizing as opposed to boosting or compressing is that the frequencies can be recreated in a thoroughly clean way. When the control is at the minimum the effect is the same as clicking on the name of the process to bypass it.
SUB uses a combination of resonant filters to increase the sub content of the sound or invent it in case it does not exist. Since this area is responsible for the root sounds of the key, SUB is the only processor that includes a frequency selector so you can fine tune according to your song. Being a resonant filter we do not have to fear that this will increase the frequencies below the position of the FREQ selector.
THICK combines processes that stabilize and at the same time enhance the most difficult area of the spectrum: the low mids. In this area are most of the frequencies considered problematic but at the same time are responsible for the translation, warmth and energy of the mix.
BITE works in the area of high mids, which is where the clarity, intelligibility, strength and aggressiveness of the sound lie. Large boosts in this area can sound excessively annoying. But since all these processes are parallel you can use larger amounts before you get to the point where they sound painful. Even so, we recommend using this control last.
