Sketching a face with pencil (Time Lapse Sketch #2)
A quick sketch of a face using charcoal and graphite pencils. This diary series is a place where I can continue to experiment, make mistakes and improve with each sketch. I hope that this can be used for motivation for us all!
In this sketch I am experimenting with a soft charcoal pencil and a very soft graphite pencil. I really love the combination for the shading. Unfortunately the graphite reflected the light back into the camera near the end but you can see the results in the images afterwards. I will try definitely try some more sketching with the two.
