Christmas comet C/2021 A1 Leonard visiting star cluster M3
Comet C/2021 A1 Leonard visited another deep sky object. It's a star cluster Messier 3 which is made up of known 500 000 stars and has 274 variable stars. This beautiful event was captured on the night of December 3rd at 3 am. Leonard might be visible again to the naked eye under dark skies on 14th December. Comet is now travelling through space at a speed of 70,67 km per second and it will be back in 80 000 years. I stacked 20 minutes of data to reveal some faint details on the cluster and comet. The Conjunction was captured from Beroun in the Czech Republic.
