In this video I try to help people of the internets with their difficulties of finding a solution of the menacing Steam.dll error!
A rundown of what I said.
Enter safe mode, enter steam folder Bin & Cache folders (Delete them all just to be safe. [But be careful not to delete "steamapps & userdata" folders where you might have saves and games installed!]). Now revert back to normal and hopefully the wounds have been healed.
I have Windows 10 and I think this was done in February or March of 2016.
