Deploy a lightweight, cost-effective Active Directory environment on Azure in minutes using Terraform. This Quick Start builds a self-managed Samba 4 Domain Controller on Ubuntu, configured for AD DS and DNS, inside a custom Virtual Network. Windows and Linux virtual machines automatically join the domain at boot using cloud-init and scripted automation.
