You'll see how to easily make your own tinctures for your home medicine cabinet from herbs and medicinal plants. Many plants can be used, depending on their effects and intended use. Tinctures can be taken as drops – neat, dissolved in water, or in tea – and applied externally to the skin, for example, as a rub or to treat wounds and insect bites. For most plant extracts, clear spirits with 40% alcohol are sufficient. I like to use ribwort plantain, yarrow, chamomile, sage, and similar medicinal herbs. You can learn how to make a tincture in the video. Enjoy watching and participating! Foxy
