In 1980, one of the greatest animators of all time passed away. His name was Tex Avery and he’s known for creating characters like Daffy Duck, and was instrumental in the development of Bugs Bunny. He created some of the most beloved animated shorts ever.
Seventeen years after his death, a French-American animation studio released a cartoon called “The Wacky World of Tex Avery”. The show has been called an insult to his legacy. In this video I’m going to be going over how it came to exist, and if it’s really as bad as people say.
