A rat gave birth in a mousetrap
There's nothing surprising or shameful about catching rodents in your area as pests. So I set mousetraps, too. One day, a rat was caught, and she even gave birth right in the trap. I don't know about others, but I couldn't bring myself to destroy the offspring with the mother. I couldn't think of anything better to show what happened than to use a barrel. I was afraid the mother would attack me, so I released the trap with such trepidation. All the babies survived. Despite providing food, the mother ate all the babies within a few days, and I did what I do when I catch pests.
