In our 2nd video about ideas for unusual dates, we take you to the Planes of Fame Museum in Southern California to visit a magnificent and rare aircraft from World War II.

In only three years (from 1943 to 1946), 3,970 B-29 B-29 Superfortress aircraft were built. Today, only two of them are left in flying condition - “Doc” being one. The B-29 was the most sophisticated piston-engined bomber in its days. It was so advanced that after the war, the Soviets Union seized several after emergency landings, and proceeded to re-engineer and clone them.

We are rounding off the day with a stopover at another Southern California landmark: the original location of In-N-Out Burger in Baldwin Park.
