An article in #Forbes magazine said by the year 2053 said black median wealth would be zero. Is this true? Why are black people in this quandary? Did we do this on our own or did we have help getting here? In both my living and research I found that it’s not entirely our own fault why we are here. There have been blatant systematic efforts to keep African Americans downtrodden, displaced, and poor. While it’s important to know those reasons, it’s even more important to know and understand the steps it takes to get us out of this mess that we did not create. There are ways and I talk about it in this powerful #tedtalk that garnered over 400k views on Ted website. If you haven’t seen it, watch and share.
