Off Grid Trek Solar Blanket | Portable solar panel review
Hello Operators.
Today on OH8STN Ham Radio, we have a portable solar panel review. he panel is from Off Grid Trek and is called the OGT120. The OGT120 is an Off Grid Trek Solar blanket, often inaccurately compared to PowerFilm Solar amorphous panels. The Off Grid Trek folding solar blankets are best used in car camping, overland or perhaps as a backup panel where weight isn't important.
The portable folding solar panel is a 120 watt model, called the OGT120. Off Grid Trek was kind enough to send over the OGT120 so that we could get some time off grid, in the field, getting to know this very interesting portable 120 watt solar panel.
In my opinion, the Off Grid Trek 120 watt folding solar panel is a bridge between ultra portable panels like those from PowerFilm Solar, and the other less portable solar blankets from manufacturers like Renogy, Goal Zero, Jackery and of course the Chinese copy cats.
