To get the PEN Accessory, you need to craft 180 Burning Moonlight Black Stones. Simple Alchemy:
1 Burning Moonlight Black Stone Powder
(Jetina daily quest reward, choose 1: 2x for grind quests, 1x for lifeskill)
1 Yona’s Fragment
(Melt Serap’s Necklace, Sicil’s Necklace, Forest Ronaros Ring, Orkinrad’s Belt, Centaurus Belt or Ring of the Cadry Guardian after obtaining Ossa Dilla's Special Heating Method knowledge - refer to the link list above)
3 Magical Shards
(You get 1.1 Magical Shards on average if you heat a Black Magic Crystal. How to obtain: Marketplace, Centaurs, Hadum spots, some other grind spots)
100 Black Stone Armor or 100 Black Stone Weapon
10 Old Moon Alchemy Catalysts
(Buy for 3.5 million silver reach from the Old Moon Manager NPCs: Velia - Klau, Heidel - Stee, Calpheon - Lajee, Altinova - Jak, Grána - Zya, Duvencrune - Taya)
To get the enhancer item for TET to PEN, you need to take 110 Burning Moonlight Black Stones and a regular TRI version of the accessory you want PEN to Jetina and do the exchange through a quest.
If you logged in between June 20th, 2021 and August 4th, 2021 before maintenance, you will get an item in your challenges tab (Y) that you can exchange at Jetina for 28 Burning Moonlight Black Stones. This will save you 14-28 days and over 1 billion silver in materials.
You can calculate the cost of the guaranteed PEN accessory with the calculator linked above. It already costs more than 10 billion silver on EU, and it will become more expensive as material prices are rising. You can't sell the guaranteed PEN accessory on the market.
Identifying the best guaranteed PEN accessory
If you can't afford PEN accessories yet, a Crescent Ring will be best.
If you want to enhance PEN Tungrad Rings or PEN Ominous Rings, you can use the PEN Crescent Ring as a backup.
If you already own PEN accessories, a guaranteed PEN Narc Ear Accessory or a PEN Tungrad Earring will be best because they give you more options than just PEN Black Distortion Earrings. Most people prefer Narc over Tungrad Earring.
According to the GM Note, you will have once chance to exchange your PEN accessory if you changed your mind. At the time of recording this video, the method is not known yet. Please share it in the comments if you find out.
Jetina's Daily Quests
10 billion silver and more for an accessory you cannot sell and that is not best in slot is not cheap. Therefore, you should make sure you do not add to the cost. Doing daily quests that require you to do things you wouldn't do otherwise involves an opportunity cost. It is not recommended.
Better combine your Jetina questing with knowledge / ecology grind, treasure item grind or season quests. You can even do lifeskill quests if you don't find time to grind. Horse taming and flour / dough making is quick.
