The Famous Corinth Canal | Wonder of GREECE (2)
The famous Corinth Canal splits mainland Greece with the Peloponnese, and is about a 1 hour drive outside of Athens. The Corinth Canal was built in the 1800's and is a wonder of engineering and famous in Greece. If you are heading to the Peloponnese its well worth a stop at the Corinth Canal to marvel at its beauty and maybe catch one of the tourist boats passing through.
