CONE TRAP BELT against ants and aphids
A protective trapping belt against ants and aphids, an all-weather, maintenance-free design.

Use soft wire to secure the cone. The protective cone can be moved up and down every month; this will help prevent ringing in the bark, if necessary. For older trees, smooth out any unevenness in the bark where the trapping belt is attached with an additional layer of substrate, clay, synthetic padding, foam rubber, garden pitch, or other sealing material.
