1997 Chevy Express van 2500 305 5.0 engine rebuild
rebuilding in the driveway on a shoestring.... and no lift or engine removal.... a real joy marveling at the engineering that went into this fine engine....dropped it all out the bottom with the front elevated 6 inches... pulled seats for great shop space inside vehicle..remanf crank 10/10, cam, lifters, reworked heads.. cost looks to be less than $500, including rebuilding transmission 4l60e; an excellent holiday project....remainder of photos soon..
