Contrary to popular belief, YOU DO NOT need a computer science degree to land a Software Engineer job! There are so many free and affordable resources like

I personally went to a coding bootcamp to land my first role but I’ve coached many clients who took the self taught route. 💻
Having a degree will always help but it is not mandatory! If decide on a self taught path, make sure you have a solid plan, portfolio, and projects to showcase your skill as a Software Engineer. Although it can be tough and lonely at times, having a mentor or coach you can talk to will help ease your concerns about whether or not you are job eligible.
