Over the years we have had multiple break-ins including thefts and vandalism. In an effort to document and prevent some of those criminal actions we have purchased alarms, video cameras, and other deterrents to discourage these felons from entering and or vandalizing our property.
We recently moved and upon arriving I began ordering cameras and other items to document and prevent the same here in our new home.
After 1 week items I ordered that were delivered straight from the US Postal Service began arriving “damaged” and non-functional. Here are some of the items I ordered over the last week.
The last package that arrived was supposedly “Damaged” by the carrier working that day. She said the package tore when she picked it up and rather than take it back to the office she delivered it. Yet she said nothing to the office employees she delivered it too, merely dropped it off an acted like nothing happened.
The package looks as though it was grasped firmly at one side then RIPPED OPEN. That is my opinion, the other thing is, all of the items that are arriving broken are coming through USPS.
When you have one item arriving non-functional ok, maybe it is just a bad item. But then a second item arrives bad, the box has been opened then resealed and the item inside is broken.
So what do you do? document the recurring damage to your mail, including the federal crime of opening your mail, do a formal complaint with the postal inspectors. One time in a year, maybe its an accident, but for it to happen 3 or 4 times in 2 weeks, any logical human being would think someone is doing it on purpose to prevent you from getting cameras to document their crimes they commit.
I highly advise getting cameras because in today's world, people do mean things, and commit crimes against you.
If you do not have evidence the police will do nothing. Sometimes they wont do anything even if you have evidence. FILM EVERYTHING!
