Back in January, I discovered one of the biggest opportunities for manga artists this year — the 2026 World Manga Contest by Kadokawa. What started as curiosity quickly turned into one of the most intense creative journeys I’ve ever experienced.
This wasn’t just about making a manga. It became a test of discipline, endurance, and honesty with myself as a creator.
