In this video, I build an elevated survival shelter deep in the forest using only natural materials like trees and wild bamboo.
The shelter is constructed on two separate living trees, creating two independent platforms:
p
• One platform is the round bamboo house,
• The other is a separate fire and cooking platform, designed to keep flames away from the living space for safety.
The two platforms are connected by a handmade bamboo bridge, fully equipped with bamboo railings for balance and protection.
All floors and the bridge are carefully reinforced to ensure stability high above the ground.
The house has a circular design, with the exterior surrounded by woven bamboo slats, allowing airflow while providing shelter from rain and wind.
A bamboo-and-wood ladder is used to access the shelter from the ground.
The entire structure is built next to a waterfall, creating a peaceful natural environment while staying elevated to avoid ground predators and moisture.
This project shows how to live in harmony with nature, respecting the forest while using traditional survival skills passed down through generations.
