In this video, I use my mom's old computer parts to build a dedicated NDI monitor for video distribution to the other side of the church. I am using the free NewTek Tools which include a bunch of other tools that I'll visit in another future video.
The main problem is that in the multipurpose room of our church, we had coax cables sending the video from the sanctuary but these cables were accidentally cut. Originally there was no way to fix this except for cutting holes in the walls and running new cables.
I heard about the NDI tools a while ago and tested out the NDI Studio Monitor and it worked great. I thought if I had a fast enough computer I could hook it up to the TV in the multipurpose room and then just stream the service there over the cat6 I ran there last year.
