EDIT: This setup is compatible with Qt 5 except Qt 5.15, VTK 8.2, and VS2017. To use with VS2019, you have to install the v141 toolset which can be added with the visual studio installer. Then, type "v141" under the "Optional toolset" option in the menu that pops up when clicking "configure" for the first time in CMake. This has to be done for both VTK and your personal project, cheers!
Tutorial for integrating Qt and VTK in a C++ CMake project. In this tutorial, we'll install Qt and compile VTK from source. Then, we will create a project with CMake which uses the two and create a form that renders data using the VTK classes. Then, we'll compile and execute the project using Visual Studio 2017.
