OMG! My Dog ALMOST ATE MY BUDGIE! 😱 + Fruit Trees, Drills & Basement Reno!
You guys are NOT going to believe what happened! My feathered friend, Mr. Squawkles, almost became a doggy snack! 😳 Yep, my furry monster decided my shoulder was the perfect place for a budgie buffet. Watch to see how close we came to disaster! (Spoiler: Squawkles is okay, but my heart rate isn't!)
But that's not all! This week has been a whirlwind of activity. My overgrown bush finally got the haircut it deserved (it was so wild, I swear it was auditioning for a role in "Jumanji"). I've also become a mini orchard owner, planting NINE fruit trees! 🍎🍊🍋 I'm talking apples, oranges, tangerines, clementines, plums – the whole shebang! And the damage to my wallet? Let's just say my bank account is weeping gently. (Okay, maybe not gently). I'll reveal the grand total in the video!
Tool time! 💪 I treated myself to a brand new bunging drill (yes, that's what it's called, I swear!) for a mere €49. Bargain! It's already getting a workout in the basement, where I'm STILL chipping away at the plaster to reveal that gorgeous granite wall. It's a slow process, but the results are going to be epic!
Fire prevention is key! 🔥 I burned a mountain of piled biomass to make the land fire-safe for the summer. Think of me as a responsible, slightly smoky, land manager. And speaking of responsible, I also planted some vibrant purple and green kale seedlings from the market. Healthy eating, here I come! 🥦
The best part? My land is teeming with life! I spotted a chunky toad and tons of earthworms! 🐛🐸 It's proof that the soil is happy and healthy. Nature is amazing!
