The quality of light greatly changes your photo, and in fact, it greatly changes its aspect, giving it a different style and a different mood. You've probably seen photos with very beautiful lighting, and often the landscape or object was something simple, but it became beautiful.
It's simple, light is emotion. The mood of your photo will vary according to the aspect of the light; it all depends on the lighting conditions you are using. A harder light, a softer light, a cooler light, a warmer light, or anything in between. Each one gives a different feeling (message) to your photo, a style. Although there are other ways to convey a message or emotion with your photos, light is one of them and has enormous power.
If you've never thought about light, go now and take some photos. Start photographing and paying attention to the light and notice how it reflects in the result of your images, and you'll realize that it gets easier and easier.
