This project seeks to better illustrate the status of artificial intelligence research at Arizona State University, via the employment of questionnaire-survey methodology. This questionnaire will be distributed to the departments at the university that perform research involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, and model training. Results will be aggregated and assessed to designate certain usages, adoption methods, and blockers within research. The ulterior goal of this project seeks to capture the framework for systems engineering approaches to unconventional processes. While most other Capstone projects involve process life cycles and lean improvements for operations, the task assigned by Prime Solutions Group involves a variety of non-engineering methods. The team attempts to approach these procedures with systems engineering management protocols. The framework devised from this project will enable future teams to work with equal efficiency on similar unorthodox developments.
