This experiment shows how to create a battery using human body as salt bridge. It creates a double reaction : oxydation and reduction.
Power comes from the zinc that has an higher electro-negativity than the copper. Electrons are running from the zinc to the copper.
This battery is based on galvanic cells also called voltaic cells.
It also works with potato or lemon instead of human body.
