A video where I went to Soi 4 Nana for a few drinks in the afternoon. There's been a few changes on the street, especially near the Rajah hotel.

Additional comments:
The rainy season and the low tourist season in Thailand overlap, they are both roughly from May-October. Bangkok doesn't get as much rain as the Southern islands of Thailand such as Phuket and Ko Samui, but still gets a few showers that usually last for 30 mins or so.
The Rajah bar complex has partially opened, with Angels Four and Hillary 1 being the main 2 bars there right now.
It's good to see the alleyway is open from Soi 4 to Soi 2, but it's amazing to me just the length of time they are taking to build the Rajah bar complex. Maybe they don't know what they want? Or maybe the contractor is milking the job?
Hotels
Staying around Soi 4 Nana is ideal for most people in Bangkok. You can't go wrong with the Dawin hotel for $56, the ibis is good value at around $38, and if you're a budget traveller the Nana City Inn is ok for $27 a night.
The re-modelled Hillary 1 bar is a bit weird?
They've completely changed the format of the Hillary 1 bar from before. Instead of the old barstools and high tables they have now regular sit down tables and chairs. 3 pool tables is now down to 1 in a corner and they have a big live music stage to the left. The bar feels totally different from before, and being set so far back from the street is not ideal. They now need several promo staff who try to usher in potential customers. Tip: don't sit near the blazing hot pizza oven outside or you'll feel like you're in a sauna.
