Windows Security Not Opening in Windows 11 ! fix this error Windows Defender ! Technical Rex
So you installed windows 11 and now windows security ie: windows defender is not working? well this is a known issue which will be resolved by Microsoft, but here is a way to fix it until its patched by Microsoft.
1. Press the Win key to open the Start Menu
2. Type Windows PowerShell
3. Click Run as administrator
4. Type this command and press enter:-
Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage
Fix Windows Security not working error You'll Need A New App To Open This Windows defender Link on Windows 11 & 10
Windows 11 users
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
OR
Windows 10 users
Add-AppxPackage -Register -DisableDevelopmentMode "C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.SecHealthUI_cw5n1h2txyewy\AppXManifest.xml"
You Windows Security should now be fully working.
