Horse racing at Indian Castle Racetrack, Nevis WI. There are no starting gates. The old traditonal start to a race is with a flag.
Horses taking part: Shatta, Sip Tip II & Curtains Going Up.
Curtains Going Up previous race to this one was with the big horses on the island, Brule River, Upon My Honor & Eddie the Spouse over 7 furlongs which he performed not to his best. He was placed in softer company and shorten in distance. A winning move on the trainer's behalf, but his victory was a head. Curtains Going Up made his move down the backstretch 2 wide and swept passed Sip Tip II but Shatta fend him off the entire rest of the 3 furlongs. His momentum of too great in which he got the victory.
Shatta led throughout but was denied victory by a head as she weakened late.
Sip Tip II was never in contention, she wasn't a factor to the top two.

hatta over 6 furlongs which they met again over a wet-fast track but the video I accidently deleted. Shatta won the race by a length. She led throughtout and was pasted in the stretch once jockey Brem Liburd gave her a lash, she surged back to win ← ))
