This video describes how we can apply first law of Thermodynamics, understand energy balance and understand different kinds of losses in our ic engine. It than describes all the different engine parameters which are indicated thermal efficiency, brake thermal efficiency, mechanical efficiency, volumetric efficiency, relative efficiency, efficiency ratio, mean effective pressure, indicated mean effective pressure, brake mean effective pressure, mean piston speed, air fuel ratio (A/F ratio or F/A ratio) and number of power strokes.
