Aqualung is one of three super powerful elemental based Enemy Skills you can learn early on in Final Fantasy 7 (along with Beta and Trine).
Most people (myself included) would usually attain Aqualung once the party has left Corel Prison and can access the desert area around Gold Saucer. However, it turns out you can learn it earlier than that! You will need the Chocobo Lure materia for this trick and I recommend health totals over 700 for your party members.
