Hundreds of thousands of Haitian and Syrian nationals who are living in the U.S. under Temporary Protected Status are facing a lot of uncertainty about their futures. Last month, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration can end TPS for those migrants, which it has proceeded to do with work permits for Haitian holders expiring on July 24. In one Haitian community in Ohio, the end of TPS has meant families abruptly moving out – leaving a wave of vacant homes. Spectrum News political anchor Errol Louis is joined by reporter Sheena Elzie from Ohio to talk about how community leaders are trying to stay ahead of the problem.
