Rape is any act of sexual intercourse that is forced upon a person.
If you or anyone you know has been through a rape or sexual assault of any kind, either recently or long ago, I want to assure you that there is help and there is hope.
RAINN provides support for sexual assault victims and their loved ones through two hotlines, the phone hotline at 1.800.656.HOPE and an online messaging hotline that can be accessed through rainn.org

Childhelp.org is a similar organization that is dedicated to supporting the rights of children and providing them with the extra help that children need when they have to deal with abuse, neglect or being put at risk.
