NOTE: Don't update to 4.2.2 on your Nexus 4 because it removes this functionality. If you want to use 4G LTE, stay on 4.2.1 and DON'T update to 4.2.2.

Written Instructions:
1. Go into your phone app. (Make sure you have an LTE chip and that you are in an LTE area.)
2. Type #*#4636#*#
3. Tap on phone information.
4. Scroll down to network type.
5. Choose an LTE option.
6. Wait for it to receive and activate LTE signal (may take several minutes).
...and you're done.
