"When the going gets tough" - on Yamaha HE-8
My deepest apology to all Billy Ocean fans!
I have been playing a lot of 80s songs lately and this is one of them. The bass arpeggio..... or is it 'ostinato'.... is playing on a MIDI file controlling my Roland JX-8P synthesizer and this file is also controlling the rhythm. The rest is hand played.
I have left out the "When the going gets tough, the tough get goinggogoinggogoing.....tough....tough.....tototøtøtætætututoto" because none of my instruments have a 'Ridiculous 80s voice effects' preset. So I couldn't really do it in a convincing way.
