بداية القصة من الستينات عندما تزوج شاب اسمه صامويل من فتاة اسمها جودي وعاشوا في ضواحي مدينة بوسطن بولاية ماستشوستس بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية..
بتاريخ 24 أبريل من عام 1965 ، أنجبوا ابنتهم الأولى إيمي ، وبعد 2 سنوات أجبوا ولد اسموه سيث.
كانت ايمي فتاة مدللة جداً لولاديها ، مما جعلها تظن انها على حق في كل شيء.
صاوميل والد إيمي كان بروفيسور بجامعة نورث ايسترن في مدينة بوسطن الامريكية ، وتربت ايمي وأخوها سيث على تقديس العلم منذ الصغر ، وكانت ايمي متفوقة في المدرسة .
بعام 1983 بدأت ايمي بيشوب دراسة علم الأحياء بجامعة نورث ايسترن .
انتقلت ايمي وعائلتها الى مدينة كامبريدج بولاية ماستشوستس، حيث التحقت ببرنامج الدراسات العليا لعلم الأحياء بجامعة هارفارد ، وتخرجت منه بدكتوراه بعلم الوراثة.
عملت ايمي في عدة وظائف بعد التخرج ، ولكن لم تكن تحقق لها دخل جيد.
حصلت ايمي على عرض وظيفي للتدريس بجامعة آلاباما.
وطبعاً وافقت عالعرض وبدون تردد ، لأن العرض يحقق لها حياة الرفاهية التي انحرمت منها إضافة الى مركز اجتماعي يليق بها وبشخصيتها.
انتقلت ايمي وعائلتها من بوسطن لمدينة هنستفيل حيث توجد الجامعة..
لم تكن ايمي أستاذة جيدة في الجامعة ، وكان الطلاب يشتكون من تدريسها.

The beginning of the story from the sixties when a young man named Samuel married a girl named Judy who lived in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States of America.
On April 24 of 1965, they gave birth to their first daughter Amy, and after 2 years they answered a boy named Seth.
Amy was a very spoiled girl for her two children, which made her think she was right about everything.
Amy, Emmy's father, was a professor at Northeastern University in Boston, USA, and Amy and her brother Seth had been educated in reverence for science from a young age, and Amy was superior in school.
In 1983 Amy Bishop began studying biology at North Eastern University.
Amy and her family moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she enrolled in a Harvard Biology graduate program, and graduated with a PhD in Genetics.
Amy worked in several jobs after graduation, but was not earning a good income.
Amy received a job offer to teach at the University of Alabama.
Of course, she agreed with the offer without hesitation, because the show brings to her a life of luxury that she was deprived of, in addition to a social center worthy of her and her personality.
Amy and her family moved from Boston to Huntsville, where the university is located.
Amy was not a good professor at the university, and students complained about her teaching.
