Directed by Ondi Timoner, the film celebrates those who challenge the impossible and are motivated to make discoveries for the benefit of society. "Into the Unknown" features perspectives from a professional diver, a retired NASA astronaut, a professional mountain climber, scientists, Honda engineers, and others who tell personal stories of exhilarating accomplishments. In the film, Tatsuya Okabe, Ph.D., chief engineer of Honda's brain-machine interface, describes how his exploratory research of the brain helps advance science to improve mobility for people who are physically challenged.
