Roxy Music - Dance Away [original album version HQ]
This is the original album version of "Dance Away," which was track 9 on the sixth Roxy Music studio album, 'Manifesto.' Written by Bryan Ferry. A different mix was released as a single in April 1979 and went to #2 in the UK. Staying in the charts for 14 weeks, it became the ninth biggest selling single of 1979 in the UK. The original album version of "Dance Away" is currently available only on the band's 1995 4-CD box set, 'The Thrill of It All.' The 1999 CD remaster contains the single mix.
Released in March 1979, 'Manifesto' was Roxy Music's first album after an almost four-year hiatus and drummer "The Great" Paul Thompson's last with the band.
