2017 Mini John Cooper Works Convertible Review - Inside Lane
This is the 2017 Mini John Cooper Works Convertible and just like the JCW hot hatchback, it is a lot of fun. Power comes from a 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 228bhp and 320nm of torque. That allows for a 0-62mph time of 6.5 seconds in this 6 speed automatic. Top speed is 150mph.
The roof and be stowed at low speeds in 18 seconds or can be partially retracted at any speed. Boot space is an identical 215 litre to the Mini JCW hatchback.
This new Mini John Cooper Works Convertible benefits from premium interior and ambient lighting. Its infotainment system is adapted from BMW iDrive. Mini claim 47.9 MPG combined.
