Macrophage-mediated localized release of cytokines using PODS
PODS protein co-crystal nanoparticles allow the sustained release of cytokines and other proteins from defined locations. Here we show how PODS are readily ingested by macrophages which then allow targetted delivery to tissues the macrophages infiltrate.
