Data Compression (Summer 2023) - Lecture 19 - The Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT)
This video was made as part of a fourth-year undergraduate course covering an overview of Data Compression.
Correction: There is a typo on Slide 26 (visible starting at 32:49 in the video). The second version of the formula for PSNR should not contain a square root operator (or the coefficient in front of the second term should be 20, not 10).
