Can the $599 base model Mac Mini M4 really handle Unreal Engine 5 game development?
With only 16GB of RAM, an integrated GPU, and Apple’s soldered SSD, most people would say no chance. But I decided to battle test it under real conditions, and the results may surprise you.
Every test here was run at 1080p with dual monitors and OBS Studio recording in the background, meaning the Mac Mini was under genuine developer stress, not lab-perfect benchmarks.
We tested:

The Minisopuru iExpandMate MINI4PRO hub was a game-changer: adding an NVMe bay, extra USB ports, 4K60 HDMI output, and SD card slots, turning the Mac Mini into a true workstation.
