Sometimes, doing less in marketing is actually the move.
Now, before you think I’m telling you to sit back and do nothing—oh no, my little grasshopper, that’s not what I mean! 🙃
If you’re trying to juggle 10 different strategies at once, chances are, none of them are really working the way you want. We all feel the pressure to be everywhere, all the time, but honestly, you don’t need to be.
Instead of spreading yourself thin across every platform, email list, or blog, why not focus on just one or two that really matter to your business? It’s all about being strategic.
For example, if your ideal clients hang out on Instagram but you’re spending hours on Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok—you’re probably burning out for no reason. You don’t need to be everywhere; just where it counts.
And if you don’t know where your people like to hang out? Ask them!
Sometimes where you like to be isn’t where they are, and that’s totally fine—just something to keep in mind. It’s better to have one super-engaged platform where people love what you’re putting out, rather than five where you’re barely showing up.
More isn’t better—it’s just more.
