Amongst the skyscrapers of a new metropolis—in classic Power Rangers style—two cats vie to control the city’s future. First there was Mothra vs Godzilla. Now it's Black Cat vs White Cat. What does the future hold? Ok, maybe this is less Power Rangers and more dancing around in a cat mask and cat costume.
With all these big changes happening in Surrey, how do you want to build your city?
I am an artist who uses creativity to build connections in my hometown of Surrey. Whether it is by sharing my own artwork or supporting others to express themselves, I believe in the power of art to bring people together and build healthy creative communities. Already there are new art spaces popping up, art collectives getting together, and I am working to launch a new Community Art Program in Surrey that supports youth to create their own art projects and events. We are currently launching this program in Surrey City Centre—where all the giant cats go to dance, uniting fail compilation and art in one.
