An introduction to ExcaliBrain 0.1.14 new features via an example.
I summarize the Idea Compass framework and demonstrate how to use ExcaliBrain in Obsidian.md to visualize ideas North, South, East and West of the central idea. I show new features of ExcaliBrain 0.1.14, namely your ability to configure righthand-side friend relationships. I walk you through my process for organizing my Ontology defined as Dataview fields based on the logic of the compass. In the discussion, we touch on Wardley Maps, the Six Thinking Hats, and PMI by Edward De Bono, and look at a Double-Bubble Thinking Map to compare The Compass Framework to Wardley Maps.
