Long Cargo Shorts for Men Relaxed Fit Hiking Outdoor 3/4 Pants with Multi Pockets
There was nothing wrong with these shorts. The sizing/fit was correct. The cotton fabric was lightweight but not too thin. However, there were several aesthetic choices that I don't agree with. First, the cargo pockets are seccured with a loop of fabric that goes through a metal D ring and snaps. To access the pocket, you have to unsnap the snap, and pull the entire loop (including the snap) through the D ring....reversing the procedure when you want to re-fasten it.
The bottom of the legs also have drawstrings which could be used to tie the bottoms tight to your legs (tick prevention?) but I suspect will mostly just hang around.
They also have "fake" small front pockets (with working flaps and snaps, but no actual pockets) in front of the main front pockets. There are also a few extraneous metal studs thrown around just for looks. I don't mind the extra studs, but the loops through the D rings are really annoying to open/close the cargo pockets.
Also, because the cargo pockets are just slightly above your knees, you can't carry anything heavy in them, or they will swing back and forth banging your legs when you walk.
If you like what you see, go for it, but at this price point there are a lot of other shorts you could be buying instead with real pockets and simple snap closures on the cargo pockets.
