Police move in to remove protest encampment at UC Irvine
The University of California at Irvine on Wednesday alerted students and faculty to avoid the campus as police moved in to remove a protest encampment set up by pro-Palestinian demonstrators.
According to campus police, 200 protesters closed off the Physical Science Lecture Hall, prompting the closure of the area surrounding the encampment.
