American inventor Roger Parker developed a progressive bicycle without a chain drive and with a price tag practically comparable to a car.
According to Parker, traditional bicycle chains are long outdated. They are difficult to manufacture, unreliable, and can stain or even tear clothing. The inventor's innovative NuBike bicycle eliminates all these drawbacks. Instead of a chain, it features a unique lever transmission, which immediately brings to mind steam locomotives, or rather, the principle of transmitting torque to the wheels via levers.
