Since its original release in 2010, 'Scruples' has collected awards from film festivals across the globe. In 2012, the film was selected from out of 15,000 entries to be a finalist for 'Your Film Festival', a competition created as a special collaboration between Sir Ridley Scott, Michael Fassbender, Emirates and YouTube. Scott later commented that filmmaker Adrian Powers and his fellow finalists were "all clearly talents for the industry to watch".
