We want to implement an application to manage elections. Achieving this goal,
comes back to manage the parties running for election, the voters, the polling
stations and the results.
❖ A Party is characterized by: its name, its symbol, its president, its number of
members, etc.
❖ An Elector is characterized by his surname and first name, his CIN, his age, the
number of the office where he must vote, his situation (whether he has voted or
not yet), his choice (the symbol of the party chosen voted), etc.
❖ A Bureau is characterized by its number, address, region (string of characters),
etc.
Knowing that we want to manage all the parties participating in elections, all
voters, all polling stations and election results, you are then asked to implement
an application Java. This application should display a menu allowing:
❖Voter management. It includes the registration of new electors (knowing that
these must be at least 18 years of age), the display of the list of electors by polling
station given the posting of the Voting Board Number of a given CIN elector, the
completion of the vote (which amounts to grabbing the symbol of the party he
has chosen and coloring his finger (change his situation)), etc.
❖ Party management. It includes adding a new party, changing a particular party
(name of the president, number of members, ...), the display of the list of parties,
the display of a party of given symbol, etc.
❖ The management of polling stations. It includes the addition of a new office,
the modification of information of a desk, the display of the list of offices, the
display of the total number number of registrants per office, the number of
registrants who voted, etc.
❖ Results management. It includes the generation and display of results in 2
forms possible: the number of votes per party and the percentage of votes
obtained by each party. These Results can be calculated and displayed: o by
polling station o either globally for all polling stations o Other results may be
proposed, such as: the party winning the elections (the one got the most votes),
the parties that got no votes, and so on.
❖ Statistics. The app can offer some statistics like the voting rate (percentage of
registered voters who participated in the vote) overall, by region and by bracket
age. We can also propose to refine the results by age group of electors, etc.
